Another gift box and matching card from me today using products from the new 2017 - 2018 Stampin'Up! Catalogue which was launched 1st June and all products are available to buy from my online shop....... why not take a look.
I love the colours, lemon and lime twist which is one of the new in colours for 2017 - 2019 and the Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper (DSP) make a good combination. When I make a gift box I always like to make a matching card to go with it and this is my project for today, hope you like it.
The finished size of the box is 23/4 x 23/4 x 21/4"
Card stock 11 and 1/2" x 81/4"
Scored on long side 23/4, 51/2, 81/4 and 8
Scored on short side 23/4 and 5"
Four pieces of DSP 25/8 x 21/8"
For the box lid..... Card stock 3 x 3"

This is the template for the box and the DSP has been glued to the side panels.
Once the box has been made up you will see that it already has a closing lid but I have attached the
3 x 3" panel with DSP to this lid with fast fuse so that it overhangs slightly on all sides. this makes the lid stronger and more substantial.
To embellish and decorate the box I used the Pretty Label Punch and cut out two labels one in whisper white and one in lemon lime twist, I added a bow made from lemon lime twist card stock and cut this out using the Bow Punch I placed a gold faceted gem in the centre for extra embellishment. Lemon lime twist 1/2" finely woven ribbon was used to wrap around the box to complete the decoration.
This small card measuring 33/4 x 23/4" beautifully compliments the gift box.

The pretty label punch was used for the central embellishment and the images and sentiment were stamped using the Daisy Delight Photopolymer stamp set.
